Anxiety, Phobias & Panic Attacks
Anxiety: Anxiety is a normal response to stress or danger and can be beneficial in certain situations. However, when anxiety becomes excessive or persistent, it can interfere with daily activities and overall quality of life. Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by excessive worry and anxiety about a variety of events or activities. Symptoms may include restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, muscle tension, and sleep disturbances.

Phobias: Phobias are intense, irrational fears of specific objects or situations. Common phobias include fear of heights, spiders, flying, or enclosed spaces. When confronted with their phobic stimulus, individuals may experience extreme anxiety or panic attacks. Phobias can significantly impact daily life, leading to avoidance behaviors that can interfere with work, social activities, and relationships.

Panic Attacks: Panic attacks are sudden, intense episodes of fear or apprehension that peak within minutes. Symptoms may include heart palpitations, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, feelings of choking, chest pain, nausea, dizziness, chills, or hot flashes. Panic attacks can be frightening and may occur unexpectedly or in response to a trigger, such as a phobic stimulus.

Symptoms of anxiety:
If you have been experiencing 3 or more of the following symptoms, for more than 90 days in the past 6 months, you might be suffering from General anxiety Disorder: Irritability, restlessness, racing thoughts, fast talking, lack of concentration, pacing back and forth, mussel tension and sleep disturbances.
Treatment of anxiety:
Anxiety is treatable with anti-anxiety medications, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Hypnotherapy or combination of all three modalities. Medication helps to control symptoms while CBT works on %5 of mind which is Conscious mind and Hypnotherapy that reprogram the %95 of mind which is subconscious.
